Garden of Blight

Garden of Blight is an adventure for 5e, the world’s most played RPG. A common approach to adventures is to provide a predetermined story arc with prepared maps and encounters. This adventure follows a different pattern: inviting you to invent places and visit them to find out what they’re like, while threatening to pollute those places with supernatural blight.

Two questions motivated this design. What makes something fictionally true? And how do I externalise fiction in a way that allows me to explore it? Answering those was complicated by wishing to extend some alternative perspectives on play to players of 5e.
